About José Miguel Cardoso : José Miguel is a portuguese designer, is passionate about good food and good wines, also obsessed with drawing. STATEMENT OF ART:Interested in drawing since an early age. His mother always told, he used to draw on the sheets of the bed. In his landscape drawing view e questions whether each place has a genius loci that demands for its own representation. A map “tailored to the body of places”. Drawing is the genesis of design following the sequence: desire, drawing, design. The drawing will thus be a space of search and speculation, where one imagines "what is not, so that it shall have a being" Francisco de Holanda ORGANIZATION: University of Minho NON-DESIGN OCCUPATION: Artist, painter Media, graphic, printing, culture, design EDUCATION: 2021, Design PHD, University of Aveiro, Portugal 2013, Drawing and Printing Technics, MA, University of Porto Fine Arts School, PORTO/PORTUGAL. 2008, Design, MA, University of Barcelona, BARCELONA/SPAIN. 2005, Design, Graduation, University of Aveiro, AVEIRO/PORTUGAL.
