A' Design Award winner results announcement reaches design oriented audiences that subscribed to our newsletter. Furthermore, we work with magazines, journals, and blogs which helps us reach their own subscribers by sending newsletter announcements to their own newsletter subscribers. The A' Design Award newsletter reaches key personalities in design industry such as editors of most respective design journals, magazines and publications as well as design oriented clients, customers and consumers.
Media Pitching
A' Design Award & Competition regularly pitches design related media for disseminating the news about award winner designers. Media communication includes direct communication to international design magazines and submissions to design blogs.
Traditional Magazine Communications
Editors and media members who have registered to our database are contacted with an email regarding the relevant entry. Higher-profile media members are personally pitched, in some cases we could sponsor articles at the most relevant publications to provide editorial or advertorial coverage for our award winners. In some conditions, for traditional media, A’ Design Award and Competition contacts publications directly, and invites them to the Exhibition, Gala-Night and Award-Ceremony. Furthermore they are offered access to our media channel and press platform where they could access to a list of press only functionality such as downloading press kits, editorial images and more. Blogs, semi-professional publications, and individual reporters are contacted again via email. For very high-profile platforms, submissions are made individually; so that these platforms could pick up the relevant winning designs and publish them in their websites. Some platforms are approched differently; A' Design Award & Competition could purchase advertising, in return for a favor publishing select winners. Media List & Newsletter Announcement
A' Design Award and Competition actively controls and keeps an updated media list, which is made available at design-media.org. While this list covers most of the new media design publications, they are not the only ones that are communicated since press releases reach also non-design media through news outlets and distribution options. Furthermore, there are many bloggers, independent editors and authors that are part of our newsletters who receive news and updates regarding the competition and the winners. |
