#469: Why do I have to pay Value Added Tax?
It is the law. All products that create value added are subject to value added tax. Normally our prices are without VAT actually, so when you make a purchase, instead of paying plus VAT in most cases you just pay the exact amount as you see without getting confused, however sometimes companies could be eligible for not paying VAT, but in this case, you still pay the full amount initially asked since the initial amount does not include VAT even though sometimes our online payment system would show price plus VAT, the final invoice which is manually prepared would display the correct amount with or without value added tax depending on where your company is and what type of account you have.
