About Yip Tszlung : As a Hong Kong-born, educated in Paris, France in Aesthetic, Fashion design and Luxury management. Yip Tszlung's works combines the cultural heritage of the East and the West. And because of his love for history, culture, art and the art of live. After graduating from Paris, he has been employed by a number of international and domestic brands. In recent years, he has been involved in a number of multinational design projects. He has recently worked with a number of new wineries in the Ningxia region of China. Including their Branding, communication and packaging design for the wineries which has been very well received.
STATEMENT OF ART:
From my point of view, art is the sublimation of man's interpretation of nature, as well as the hymn, criticism and reflection of reality and the future.
As for design, it is also a practical extension of art.
Art, whether it is painting, literature, poetry, film, clothing, or practical industrial design, is a way for people to express themselves.
But good art has one thing in common, which is that while aesthetics and beauty are realized, it can bring progressive reflection to mankind, so that we can become better.
Design, on the other hand, only needs to take into account the aesthetics, aesthetics practicality, to bring comfort to people can be.

Meanwhile, a good design can follow the following three points:

1. Optical balance and color harmony, people on art and aesthetics are not out of nothing; practical design, especially for cultural heritage and ethnic groups through the ages on the object, whether it is a bottle or a piece of clothing, there are many rooted in the heart of the symbols, these are designers in the design of the product's treasure.
Therefore, it is very important for designers to understand the art works and practical crafts of past generations, such as architecture, clothing and the use of utensils, even more important than the words in books.

2. The design should also reflect and reflect the practicality of the product and the need for reflection; whether it is the form or color, or even the text layout; why we can see some of the form of instruments in the museum coincide with the current design of minimalist design, because of how many generations of human craftsmen accumulated experience before the emergence of the product; so we are in the design of form and function, should try to be in line with the ergonomics, comfort, and color of the psychological projection. Therefore, we should try to design the form and function in accordance with the ergonomics, ease of use and the psychological projection of color.

For example, we cannot design a cup that can only be taken with three hands;
Whether it is simplified from complexity or simplified from complexity, it is actually the collective recognition of the aesthetics of mankind at that time.
But whether it is complexity or simplicity, it is all in accordance with man's pursuit of beauty.

3. Although the above two points are very important, we must combine them with the current technology, craftsmanship and modern tastes; as mankind has progressed, we cannot only stick to the former's knowledge of form, material and craftsmanship;
On the other hand, old crafts such as handmade utensils and copper printing can bring more elegant texture than modern crafts, but because of the production time and cost, they can only be used or purchased by a small group of people; in this, designers must have a good ruler to evaluate and balance.

In addition to the three points above, the most important thing about design is that it must be used by as many people as possible, whether they buy it with money or exchange it for something else.
A design that doesn't sell is just a toy for the designer.

And the designer must be very good at explaining his work to others, and must refine the characteristics of the design well and sublimate the explanation many times; because although all people have a certain perception of beauty and good design, people have a multidimensional view of it, or due to history, culture, family upbringing, education or personal experience will be different.

To know, we do not need to please the vast majority of society, but we must put forward the design products well, modern society has become diversified, niche products are no longer a small market, and slowly become the main market, so designers should be more courageous to design and put forward a more suitable program.
