View Larger Image and Additional Photos of Sophia Chraibi GiorgiAbout Sophia Chraibi Giorgi : Driven by a lifelong passion for blending traditional Moroccan arts with contemporary architecture and design, Sophia Chraibi Giorgi dedicated the last 15 years to transforming spaces and experiences within the Art, Hospitality, Real estate and Catering industry.
Since 2013, her journey as an innovative furniture designer has taken her prototypes across the globe, from Marrakech to Paris, Dubai, and Venice, where pieces have been selected at international Contemporary Art exhibitions and Design Weeks for their embodiment of Moroccan traditional arts, eco-innovation and aesthetic refinement.
My philosophy is inspired by the sincerity of Arts and Crafts, Bauhaus minimalism and Mingei handmade concept . This blend of inspirations is combined to eco design principles : rejecting planned obsolescence in favor of sustainable material and limited edition products to keep individuality of each project. SCG design furniture is the contemporary expression of the increasing desire for freedom and uniqueness.
