View Larger Image and Additional Photos of Yoram CimetAbout Yoram Cimet : I am a Mexican architect who day by day I strive to have more knowledge about the city, renovation, public space, sustainability and real estate. I always apply this knowledge to all the designs and projects that I carry out in my professional life. I am convinced that the rescue of abandoned buildings in the city is a determining factor to improve public space and change according to the citizens who live around it. My greatest achievement has been to integrate the public space with my designs, giving the city a value improves the quality of life of the citizen.
Art for me is the way we ultimately sublimate life in all of its complexity & beauty. It is our highest way of expression as humans. It’s something that touches your soul. That changes you. That makes you feel.
Architecture, is the kind of design that I practice, is a marriage between art & craft, solving a function particularly of inhabiting.
It is the most complex kind of art since it requires you to tend to all of the senses & to do so working with space, time & matter, which is unique only to this practice.
It gives a frame to life, to our existence. As so it must aspire to uplift our lives & our society inspiring us on our day to day routines from our dwellings to the myriad of places where each and all of us perform our daily activities.
