Jin Lee, the designer of the award winning jewelry design BulGgod says “The inspiration came from the concept of Flame based on Korean culture. The burning flame is a special image that embodies meanings of purification, sacrifice and evolution. The designs and colours that flames create are compared to the sparkle and glow of a blooming flower that generates deep inside the fire. Korean call this Bul Ggod, which translates to Fire Flower. The project express intense colour contrast created by the alternation of rubies and diamonds. The movement of the flame is presented by the wavering halo.
