Omar Idris, the creator of the award winning work Schweben says “A collection of swing chairs; called Schweben, which means “float” in German. The designer; Omar Idriss, got inspired by the simplicity of Bauhaus geometrical approach where colors and shapes are deeply linked. He expressed the functionality and simplicity of his design by the Bauhaus principles. Schweben is made of wood, with an extra enforcement, hanged by a metal rope with a bearing ring to give its rotational motion.
