Miriam Trilety, the creator of the award winning project Flip Flops says “The illustration Flip Flop shows feet in sandals and a bright blue patterned background. The picture is a reminder of a warm summer day spend at a refreshing swimming pool. However, what can be seen in the picture is the artists living room carped. While drawing her feet Miriam Trilety recognized the pattern.
