A' International Design Award and Competition is pleased to announce that the project Portuguese Story by Diana Vieira da Silva won the famed Golden A' Design Award in Jewelry Design Category picked as the winner by the transnational jury members of the A' Design Awards & Competitions within a great number of participants.

Diana Vieira da Silva, the creative mind behind the winning work Portuguese Story explains “The intent was to create a collection that would link jewellery, architecture and Portuguese cultural heritage. Several pieces of jewellery were created based on architectural elements from an historic-portuguese church. The main challenge in creating this collection was being able to transfer the design geometry to an integrated algorithm in a 3D modeling program. This tool allowed to adapt the design to different forms of jewellery, whether they were rings, earrings, rings or pendants.
