Mr Siu Kwok Kin Stanley, the designer of the award winning lighting design Hong Kong Christmas Tree 2015 says “The “Hong Kong Christmas Tree” featured with Hong Kong's traditional bamboo scaffoldings, upcycling of aluminium cans into twinkling stars co-created by thousands of secondary school students in Hong Kong. The sustainable design concept use Bamboo as the primary material with its unique property of high flexibility and durability. The design team also sought a group of students to take part in the production of the 50,000 shining stars out of aluminium cans.
