UAU project, the lead designer of the winning project Groww. explains “GROWW. came to life from a simple need to easily grow plants in a small loft apartment. The main focus was to design a minimalistic single-plant greenhouse, that would be easily accessible to everyone in the world. It was possible with 3D printing as the production method of the base and popular EU & US jars as the glass top. GROWW is designed to be printed with PLA - a biodegradable thermoplastic derived from renewable resources.
