Winner Design: Gushu

SUIADR, the creative mind behind the winning architecture design Gushu explains “The design employs various approaches such as materials contrast, block insertion, and folding panel combinations to visualize an integrated and compact building form and express the relationship between architectural function and form. Additionally, elements such as facade openings, partly elevated floors, sky gardens, and grilles are used to adapt to Lingnan's hot and rainy weather.
