A' Design Award and Competition is happy to share that the work The Eagle by Hubert Hebesberger, Project Leader, Gernot Kraut, Project Designer, Martina Haller, Interior Design and Christina Payerhofer, Interior Design became winner of the prestigious Silver A' Design Award in Architecture, Building and Structure Design Category selected as a winner by the international jurors of the A' Design Awards & Competitions among thousands of nominated works.

Concerning The Eagle

The Eagle, the creator of the award winning project The Eagle says “Mountain Top Restaurant within the Austrian Alps. The brief was to create a rock-like, crystalline landmark to reference its context. CLT superstructure with two-way slanted columns and beams, with its interior cladded in timber, stone and felt. The exterior shell is covered in glass panels up to 6m high. Bird-like pendant lamps were specifically designed for this project, as reference to its contextual wildlife where eagles are very common.
