Platinum Edition
The Platinum Edition represents A' Design Award & Competition's strategic response to the unique needs of premium brands and design leaders. Developed through extensive consultation with multinational corporations, leading creative agencies, and brand strategists, this entry method provides reputation assurance by ensuring participants are only publicly associated with the highest echelons of recognition. The Platinum Edition serves as a sophisticated risk-management tool for organizations where brand heritage and design leadership are critical components of market positioning and corporate identity.
Technical Framework and Evaluation Integrity
Entries submitted through the Platinum Edition undergo identical evaluation protocols as those in the Professional Edition, maintaining complete methodological consistency. The distinguished jury panel evaluates all submissions using the same criteria-based assessment model and anonymous voting system, with no visibility into which entry method was selected. The key procedural distinction occurs post-evaluation: entries achieving Platinum or Gold status receive full Professional Edition recognition and benefits, while those assessed at Silver, Bronze, or Iron levels are discreetly processed through an alternative pathway that preserves the participant's public positioning while still acknowledging their achievement confidentially. You can later convert and ask us to publish, if you obtain Iron, Bronze or Silver entry, by paying a digital to pro mitigation service fee; that's because Platinum and Gold winner works are considered pro-edition laureates, while Iron, Bronze and Silver award winning works are considered digital edition laureates within our trade-secrets category; this category does not publish winners; and moving from this category to a public category requires additional payment later.
Strategic Application and Participant Profiles
The Platinum Edition serves two distinct participant demographics. For established global enterprises, luxury brands, and design-forward corporations, it provides essential reputation safeguarding while still allowing participation in the world's foremost design competition. Simultaneously, A' Design Award has structured preferential pricing for independent designers, emerging talents, and unaffiliated professionals whose exceptional confidence in their work's merit warrants this approach. This dual accessibility ensures both corporate entities and individual visionaries can strategically manage how their design initiatives interface with public recognition platforms without compromising evaluation standards.
A' Design Award Platinum Edition: A specialized entry mechanism within the A' Design Award & Competition framework that publishes results only when entries achieve Platinum or Gold status, thus functioning as a strategic reputation management tool for participants seeking association exclusively with top-tier recognition. While maintaining identical evaluation methodologies to standard entry paths, this option redirects non-Gold/Platinum results to confidential classifications, offering participants comprehensive control over their public design credentials without affecting judging processes or outcome probabilities.
Do you believe that your design is truly world-class? Do you sincerely think that no other design could beat it in terms of functionality, aesthetics, and utility? Do you consider any adjective other than “the greatest design ever” disgraceful? Then apply through the Platinum Edition. Platinum Edition is a special participation method to A’ Design Award & Competition with a unique set of conditions and requirements.
A' Design Award Platinum Edition Entry is especially ideal for established luxury brands, fortune 500 and multinational companies seeking risk mitigation. This option doesn't increase winning chances but ensures your brand is only associated with top-tier recognition by not finalizing your results if you do not win a Gold or Platinum. (If you win a Silver, Bronze or Iron, you are considered winner of concealed digital edition and still ask us later to move and publish your work at a public category, at your sole discretion, after paying concealed category to public category fee and also digital edition to pro edition migration fee, depending on your strategy and product - indeed even winning a prestigious Iron A' Design Award is extremely useful and we would recommend you to publish it but your market positioning strategy may require this) - This is amazing for fortune 500 brands that wish to show off how cool they are but worried that our highly meritocratic award process could get in their way; while we cannot help you with voting, we can for sure make sure you do not get published if you do not win a Platinum or Gold when you join via our platinum edition entry option.

Special Conditions
If you apply through Platinum Edition, after voting, if your entry is given enough score to receive a Platinum or Gold award status for the category you applied for, your entry will be considered a Professional Edition winner; you will get all the benefits of winning the A’ Design Prize. However, if you apply through Platinum Edition, and after voting, if your design does not receive enough votes to get a Platinum or Gold award status for the category you applied for, your entry will be considered a Digital Nomination in Category 999; i.e. your entry will not be featured in the yearbook, nor in your profile; winning the concealed category will help towards your rankings and if you wish, you could still download digital deliverables such as certificates or take part in our digital edition initiatives and clubs.
Special Perks
Express Judging Service is provided free of charge on demand for Platinum Edition entrants. Moreover, if you do not win a Platinum or Gold award, A' Design Award will issue a second-chance policy ticket (once) per entry.
Same Evaluation
Both the Platinum Edition and the Professional Edition share the same design evaluation principles and methodology; voting system, preliminary checks, design award jury, score points and weights are the same and the design jury members do not know which design is submitted to the Platinum Edition and which design are submitted to the Professional Edition. Given this definitions, both entry methods “Professional Edition” and “Platinum Edition” are same when the evaluation principles and methodology is concerned. Furthermore, the submission mechanism and presentation requirements are exactly the same for both the “Professional Edition” and “Platinum Edition” to ensure that entries received via both methods could be evaluated on equal grounds. Entries nominated via Platinum Edition could also request the Express Evaluation Service. The Platinum Edition participation method is open to any design award category.

Why go for Platinum?
The Platinum Edition was created for two types of entrants. Firstly, those who cannot accept anything less than Gold as an award status; for example large enterprises, businesses and brands, or very famous designers and architects; for them the Platinum Edition participation ensures that their design award status would be Platinum, Gold or nothing. Taking part in Platinum Edition decreases the perfectionist risk of getting a Silver, Bronze or Iron award status, which some PR Companies would rather their clients not to have.
Participation to the Platinum Edition is discounted for young, upcoming, freelancer and independent designers, artists and architects who are not affiliated with a corporation, brand or institution. Thus, the Platinum Edition participation method provides an accessible way for truly talented designers who are very confident about their work to join the competition in a discounted manner.
