The Habitat of the Artist, fully integrated into the environment by it´s natural flowing lines. Reinforced concrete dome connected with the Earth by 8 elegant arm extensions, allowing wide arcs to flood the living space with morning and afternoon light, and to shelter it from the occasional rainfall and the energy of the noonday sun. Facing East, sunrise enters the habitat daily via the eye dome opening . Glass is protagonist, light and balance of designs define his expression. Volumes and atmospheres combine glass with nature , stone and wood. Metal in different expressions may be present. The Studio concept is a sculpture by it´s own, were control of light and atmosphere created makes one feel to be inside his works.
The artist wanted an inspiring habitat , with filtered light , open to nature yet protected from direct sunlight and heavy rainfalls. The design focuses on open spaces and atmospheres ending with flowing lines , instead of straight ones. Even corners flow out of standard 90º. Were straight lines are present, they flow, either not being horizontal, or visually turning the octogon
