Red Fort Visitor Centre is an adaptive reuse project which celebrates the historic legacy of a Unesco World Heritage Site in Delhi. The experience center presents the history and context of the iconic heritage complex through engaging and immersive spaces. The life and significant past of the Red Fort is brought alive, by conserving its heritage character and layering it with contemporary experiences.

I am architect and an industrial designer by education. My keep interest lies in story telling and problem solving through design. I don’t get along to a silo as a designer, this is very fundamental to the kind of designing I do . The hunger to make a difference. Also to lead a time of passionate and creative people is a high in itself . My design philosophy is not to work in a silo but to be creative through the multidisciplinary approach. To work on public projects which brings narrative to the society. I design spaces where you experience a story, like you have films showcasing you a story , we do storytelling in space. Such spaces / museums are new to India comparatively. I see; we have long way to go and it can be super successful in Indian scenario .

Sabhyata Foundation has been established for the purposes of undertaking charitable and social contribution projects and activities, including development of tourism infrastructure in and around heritage monuments and other tourist site to enhance the tourist attractiveness in a sustainable manner, undertaking operations and maintenance of heritage monument or other tourist site, promotion of cultural and heritage value of the country. Sabhyata is also eligible to act as Implementation Agency. SF has been the implementation partner to Dalmia Bharat and has done the following work at the Red Fort as Monument Mitra – • Put dustbins, benches & water kiosks • Built a 20,000 sq ft interpretation center called the Red Fort Center • Created a projection mapping show on the ramparts of the Red Fort called Matrabhumi showcasing 5000-year-old journey of India • Created a sound and light show with live dancers, life sized puppets & actors. The show is called Jai Hind which has been awarded top 5 sound and light shows in the world by Nat Geo • Created a 10 days Festival called Bharat Bhagya Vidhata which showcased Indian music, food, dance, textiles and games • Created a 3-day Dances of India event showcasing various forms of Indian Classicaldances
