Ribbon house was a pavilion located in Hong Kong, serving as a preview and celebration of the inauguration of the Hong Kong Palace Museum. The design reinterpreted the hall of supreme harmony in the forbidden city and used ribbon to echo the architecture of Hkpm. Using ribbon as the primary material, the pavilion created a semi-transparent space to provide a glimpse of the new museum and look forward to its arrivals.
