This is an integrated lamp in the wall, all parts of which are located inside the wall, thanks to which the illusion of a voluminous gliding table lamp is created. The object resembles an apparition, we see it, but it is in a different plane. The inspiration for creating this lamp was a desire to design an object that will erect emotions and associations in people with ancient culture of rock-cut cities. The lamp consists of two versions of materials. The first is brass. The second lamp is made of gypsum.LEDs are located above and below. A touch sensor is located at the bottom.
I was born in 1987 in a Russian-Ukrainian family. Graduated from the university with a degree in fine arts. I started working in 2010 as an interior designer with French decorator Vanina Boudet. Later I continued my career as event designer and decorator. My New Year's jewelry was published in the book Holiday Design - THE FESTIVE&JOYFUL by SendPoints. Later, I tried myself as a modern artist. I exhibited my works at the Youth Biennale of Modern Art with the installation "Futuristic cross", which then decorated the Evangelical Lutheran Cathedral of Saints Peter and Paul. I am a member of the Moscow Union of Artists. I designed Shell sofa-transformers, for which I received my first "Red Dot" award. Then I began to produce author's lamps, which were exhibited at Moscow Design Week. My works were also published in Interni, ELLE Decoration, Yanko Design, and they decorated the cover of Light Design PRO. Since 2014, I have been designing lamps for the Maytoni brand, where I created the design of several hundred lamps. My works were exhibited at the Maytoni brand exhibitions: "Isaloni" in Milan, "Light + Building" in Frankfurt and Maison & Objet in Paris, as well as exhibitions in Hong Kong, Poland, Russia and other countries. I have won over two dozen international awards in object design.
I have been practicing design for more than 10 years, drawing sketches for stage sets, projecting interiors, elaborating branding, and creating fanciful installations as a modern artist. Eventually, I started practicing lighting and furniture design. That is what gives me the inspiration to create things, combining utility, applicability, proportion, emotionality with my own sense of beauty. I was born in Moscow in 1987. I got a university degree in Arts and started my career working for the French designer and decorator Vanina Boude. Later, I practiced modern art; my works were on display at the Moscow Biennale of Modern Art and other exhibitions. Then, I was drawing sketches for theatrical performances, shows, and different events. At the same time, I participated in the Moscow Furniture Display with my lamp and furniture prototypes. Thanks to this fact one of my lamps landed on the cover of the magazine Light & Design. After that, I was invited to found and head the regional design department of the German Brand Maytoni. Recently, I have taken part in international awards and become the prize winner of Red Dot, Pin Win, and Kreata. More than once my products were displayed at the exhibitions Isaloni in Milan, Light + Building in Frankfurt, and all over the world, my products are used for the decoration of a great number of restaurants and apartments.
