#261: Can freelance designers also participate in the design competition?
Yes, freelance or independent designers which are not actively working for a company on contract basis can also participate in the design competition. The procedure is the same. It could be noted that during design nomination, client details are asked (for future PR purposes), however in this case, if the submitted work was not designed on a commission basis, a freelance designer could enter their own details to the client / brand section of the designed project; i.e. instead of the client logo, the freelance designers also have the possibility to upload their own logos, which would be later included in the press kit.
