#211: Can I submit several designs as a single entry?
In principle several different designs cannot be submitted as a single entry, however, for all categories there is an exception for design clusters; designs belonging to the same product family, or designs belonging to same product platform or a series of designs and their slight variations, sets or groups of designs with very similar features and complimenting designs etc. can be nominated either as single entry or as separate entries. In general this principle applies to all categories. To give further examples; if you have a series of furniture designs that belong to the same product family, these pieces can be nominated under a single entry. If you have a group of advertisement campaigns with the same theme, these can be nominated as a single entry. If you have a packaging identity for a brand for several goods in the same category with different sizes, these designs can be nominated as a single entry, if you have a product that is customisable or configurable, their different customisations or configurations can be submitted under a single entry. On the other hand, several different designs can especially be submitted as a single entry for two categories: 1. Excellence in Design Award, and 2. Young Design Award. Indeed, for submissions in these two categories, you are expected to submit many of your designs i.e. the portfolio.
