With more than a decade of experience, Antry balances the commercial outcomes of the client with innovative touches through light, colour and materials that keep the human experience always in mind. Antry is inspired by the simplicity of form and the integration of high-end technology in the architecture of Norman Foster, as well as the cultural, historical and environmental responses found in the work of architect Renzo Piano. When contemplating design and art, I perceive them as the foundational pillars of human expression and innovation. Design is the intricate process of problem-solving and creativity, weaving together functionality, aesthetics, and practicality to craft solutions that enhance our daily lives. It's about understanding the needs and desires of individuals or communities and translating them into tangible forms and spaces that resonate with us on a fundamental level. Art and design, on the other hand, is the embodiment of emotion, ideas, and perspectives, transcending boundaries and conventions to offer a glimpse into the human condition. It's a medium through which we explore, question, and contemplate the world around us, inviting interpretation and reflection. Art speaks to our souls, capturing the essence of our existence through various mediums and styles. From my perspective, design and art are deeply intertwined, with each informing and inspiring the other. While design serves practical purposes, it also embodies artistic expression, infusing spaces and objects with beauty, meaning, and emotion. Conversely, art can influence design, offering new perspectives and ideas that push the boundaries of creativity and innovation. My architectural approach perfectly embodies this synergy between design and art. Inspired by simplicity, technology, and cultural context, my work and practice demonstrates how design can be both functional and aesthetically compelling, enhancing the human experience in profound ways. In summary, my motto would be: "Design and art are the essence of human creativity, shaping our world and experiences in profound and meaningful ways. Together, they inspire, provoke, and enrich our lives, leaving an indelible mark on the fabric of society."
