It is present in the first visual and tactile contacts of the human being, in the imagination of unusual forms of when a child looks at the clouds, and in the laws of physical attraction among people. It is also in the surrounding environment, landscapes, buildings and in our own daily workplace.
It influences on our feelings, sensations and the quality of our day-to-day, directly or indirectly. We can be sadder or happier, depending on whether the day is brighter or more gray. We can wake up in a good or bad mood, depending on the mattress we chose to sleep in. Even the clothes we choose reflects the way we expect the world to see us - or even if we don’t want to be seen. The design of your face varies with a certain type of hair, beard, mustache or makeup. The choice of the means of transport, whether it is a car, bus, train or bicycle, can lead us to the same destination, however, with different perceptions of the way.
We can spend a lifetime without realizing the influence of design in our daily lives and in our sensations.
Art has the power to make these sensations perceptible, when a painter portrays a landscape by which we passed unnoticed, when a photographer makes us see what we did not see and when a sculptor steals our attention to the beauty of a form.
Similarly, designers and architects instigate us to observe the environment and objects that surround us. They interfere in our lives, either by creating more beautiful and functional spaces or by redesigning trivial objects of our everyday life.
That's my perspective. To interfere positively in people's lives through architecture and design.
