STATEMENT OF ART: I believe it is as important to make something beautiful as it is something unexpected, useful, or utilitarian. In my design work I strive for a level of simplicity as well as some kind of moral goodness in the work. As an artist I may seek to ask questions or explore new experiences which do not have words, but as a designer my first concern is to make useful things, explore computer imagination, and hopefully also improve the human condition in the process.
