EXPERIENCE:
Gareth Bristow has been drawing and designing since his teens and has applied his talents to building, mechanical engineering and graphical design professionally for over thirty years. As a young engineer he worked on new technologies including air bearings and air gauging.
Since the beginning of the 90’s Gareth involvement in architecture has lead to winning several awards for architectural and urban design. Gareth passion for form, function and having a enquiring mind has lead in recent years to the development of new mechanical technologies and products.
Gareth is creative director of a thriving consultancy, providing creative design, managerial and professional support to several world renowned Architectural practices and developers.
Gareth’s reputation for his focus on detail, design and project leadership has resulted in an extremely high percentage of planning successes and completion of numerous prestigious projects. This ability to see through problems and find solutions has been a keynote of his career and has lead to him designing and patenting several new mechanical devices as a cognitive extension to his innate design skills.
It has been Gareth’s evolvement and design development of one of those devices into several applications and their evolution into a range of innovative products that has lead to his formation of a technology and marketing company with Philip Pike, a close friend with extensive marketing experience, to fully exploit the full potential of the new mechanism.
