| DESIGN NAME: Number Seven PRIMARY FUNCTION: Residential House INSPIRATION: Always liked the use of arches and curves in designs. The semicircular arch gives you a deep sense of relaxation. Decided to use semicircular arches, both in the exterior and interior. To save money and time, keep some walls and ceilings exposed, without finishing materials, so, you can see brick texture everywhere. Thinking about using recycled materials. Therefore, the ceiling of the living room was covered with recycled wood which did not need any coloring. UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION: This 55-year-old house was really need of renovation. Because there is only 100 days to design and rebuild,no time to prepare renders or any kind of documents before execution; therefore, the sketching was done at the site during the execution. OPERATION / FLOW / INTERACTION: The most appealing part of this project is "arch". The blue color of the floor also is one of the positive part. PRODUCTION / REALIZATION TECHNOLOGY: Love to recycle the materials. SPECIFICATIONS / TECHNICAL PROPERTIES: The most important thing about this project is the time of designing and executing. Lots of things to do, and just 99 days.The area of this project is 310 square meter. It has one and a half main level. That's why a lot of research has been done on this and some good experiments have been done. CHALLENGE: The most difficult part in designing this project was the strict rules of urban planning and municipality regarding changes in plans and views. Isfahan, the city where Amordad Design studio borned, is one of the oldest city in Iran with more than 2000 years of history, art and culture with more than 500 valuable historical building such as mosques, Ancient hotels, schools, Bathes, Bridges, the minarets, factories, churches, gardens, fire temples and etc. from different decades and centuries with wide ranges of different colors and forms.
