INSPIRATION:
Throughout the history of my country, people are used to sit on the floor and less on the chair. Even though the seats and chairs are commonly used everywhere these days, there are still a lot of people who sit criss cross on the chair. my aim was to design a chair to fulfill the need and habits of the people of my country.
UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION:
This is a seat with a curved surface shape, people can easily achieve cross legged sitting by it. This seat ware can effectively distribute the force of the buttocks of the human body evenly to the outside of the knee and the thigh. Even if keeping long time this posture, we will not feel tired. The back can feel the support of the caudal vertebrae, increasing the support of the waist. This design is not only a reflection of culture, but also a study of ergonomics.
OPERATION / FLOW / INTERACTION:
Everyone will feel a strong sense of experience when sitting it.

The project was made in 2018, Iran, Tehran.

wrapped outside with a molded sponge, and the outer surface of which is the leather and wooden structure and legs.

RESEARCH ABSTRACT:
We made more than ten model ，attached the sponge, in order to determine the appropriate model, and also spend a lot of time to make the surface of the seat, finally I completed it with two materials, one is leather and another is wood.
CHALLENGE:
The biggest challenge of this research is that there is no original shape for reference. So I can not drew an accurate form fitting our body.

I am truly amazed by the beauty of this chair design! The way its curves and lines flow together create an enchanting visual effect which is further enhanced by the use of quality materials. The color combination of the Lunule chair gives it a unique character that is sure to make an impact in any room. I have to say, I am truly impressed by this award-winning chair design! The curved surface shape of the seat is a genius idea that allows for a comfortable cross-legged sitting position, while evenly distributing the body's pressure.
