| DESIGN NAME: 24 months Car Battery Warranty PRIMARY FUNCTION: Awareness Ad for Members INSPIRATION: With these keywords in mind, "on-site services, convenience, anytime and anywhere*", what is the best visual to get across to members within short span of time?. Drawing inspiration from simple green battery shape in order to stay protected and 4-wheels to emphasise on its convenience. These ads convey the message to the members loud and clear. UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION: Automobile Association of Singapore is the leading provider of motoring-related services, lifestyle benefits & privileges to its members. As one of AA Members' benefits, AA battery services offer its members a 24 months on-site warranty for every new car battery purchased. The message is simply to inform AA Members, that they can simply call hotline number for fuss-free replacement service. They need not worry even when stranded on the road due to a failed car battery. OPERATION / FLOW / INTERACTION: The awareness poster is displayed in-store to gain more exposure to walk-in Members. It also acts as information for Non members of the benefits entails should they sign up. PROJECT DURATION AND LOCATION: Location: Automobile Association of Singapore, Singapore. Duration: 2-3 weeks from conceptualisation to execution. |
PRODUCTION / REALIZATION TECHNOLOGY: Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator SPECIFICATIONS / TECHNICAL PROPERTIES: Magazine ad: 205 x 275mm Poster ad: 594 x 841mm TAGS: Battery awareness ad, graphic design, Automobile Association of Singapore, battery poster, 24 months battery warranty, car services RESEARCH ABSTRACT: Worked on the thoughts of how to create interesting visual on 2D medium. During this process, It came to realisation that by using the top view perspective gives clearer visual messaging in this context. CHALLENGE: The challenges were to put together different images by digital imaging. Limited ready-image sources, the right perspectives of the images, limited time-frame posed as challenges to achieving the desired end results.
