I had a lot of fun creating a sustainable and functional designs for both User and Expert, Integrating AI and photo recognition software to maximize accessibility to Math and Science help. OPERATION / FLOW / INTERACTION: We start with user research, working on user personas and user psychology to give some background and set a state of mind that will help with the user journeys, creating flows and putting down ideas, we continue with UI design iteration, moving on to prototyping and user testing with focus groups and existing users interviews, after the final UI is approved we work with engineering to deliver the best interactive experience, making sure that the final design is polished. PRODUCTION / REALIZATION TECHNOLOGY: Drove and evolved the aesthetic quality of creative material in UI and UX for all products. Delivered key project including discovery findings, user archetypes, user research and analysis, requirements definition, workflows, wireframes, sitemaps, interaction and behavior specs. Contributed to interface design, mobile-first user experience vision and visual design. TAGS: app, iOS, Android, Education, Math, Science, Tutor, Expert, Help RESEARCH ABSTRACT: We gather the existing data from our current users and start to look for similarities, we dive into creating user personas and go deeper into designing the user psychology, we interview a number of existing users and we find focus groups to interview and gather information about new users. CHALLENGE: There were a lot of challenges along the way, but one that stands out was integrating a photo recognition software and AI to explain certain problems. Trying to separate and distinguish bot from Expert was difficult, so we created prototypes to test with focus groups, we tried different versions and spend a lot of time on research till we arrived at a solution.
