DESIGN NAME: Blackzmith
PRIMARY FUNCTION: Eyewear Shop
INSPIRATION: More chic, more elegant and smarter. Inspired by Romanesque architecture, we designed a brand vision of Blackzmith optical at the first iconic shop.
UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION: Located on Nathan road in Tsim Sha Tsui, Hong Kong, Blackzmith opened as the first shop. We created an eye-catching interior where the main feature was an arched shape structure, which painted in white colour, running through the length of the retail space. Black coloured wood wool cement board was chosen for the background wall to emerge the white arched shape. Antique style chairs and pendant lights were brought some warmth and welcoming atmosphere into the space.

CHALLENGE: The main challenge of this project was to combine the minimum functional requirements, Feng Shui and spatial design organization in a limited space. In order to support the functional requirements and suggestions of Feng Shui, we examined the floor plan and developed the design elements though discussions.
