| DESIGN NAME: Foothill residence PRIMARY FUNCTION: Reside INSPIRATION: It uses some oriental element ,such as bridge, waterfall, feance ,waterspace ,lotus and dry landscape. By introducing dry landscape and layout of plants, a unique space feeling is created through alternating layers. UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION: This is a 6-floor single-family villa equipped with lift.The overall layout of the building is pursuing leisure and artistic functions. The most special feature of the villa is that it has two floors underground as well as four floors aboveground. Generally, the impression of basement is associated withdarkness, moist, insufficient light andbad air circulation. To break the intrinsic impression towards basement, we have boldly re-designed the space and carried out overall reconstruction. OPERATION / FLOW / INTERACTION: We use a water circulation system in the atrium, which makes the design more environmentally， The use of chinese ink painting elements, the mountains and the water, make space in the ink painting into the interior design, the water in the atrium, and the mountain shaped on the wall, so that the landscape into interior design. PROJECT DURATION AND LOCATION: I t was exhibited in hangzhou from China in august 2015. |

SPECIFICATIONS / TECHNICAL PROPERTIES: dimensions: 650SM TAGS: single-family ,villa,intrinsic RESEARCH ABSTRACT: This is a villa full of Chinese culture, the location is located in the city of water culture-hangzhou china, so we want to integrate into the design elements with Hangzhou characteristics. So in the design, we consider the theory of Chinese Feng Shui, put the mountain and waterfall in our design.
