| DESIGN NAME: Acqua PRIMARY FUNCTION: Bench INSPIRATION: The design inspiration comes from organic movements of the waves when already close to the beach, is a conceptual design that most commercial but serves well for business and home uses. UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION: My project is a bench done in walnut of multilaminated plates conformed one by one Manual way. The interior trim was made with matte satin paint. OPERATION / FLOW / INTERACTION: The project is a bench used for home and corporate environments. PROJECT DURATION AND LOCATION: The project began in October 2015 in Antonio Prado Brazil, and was completed in November 2015 in the same city. FITS BEST INTO CATEGORY: Furniture Design |
PRODUCTION / REALIZATION TECHNOLOGY: The project was performed with use of multilaminate sheet applied manually one by one on a fixed mold by means of cold glue. After this process the structure is sanded wooden blade and received on outside and inside satin paint. To finalize the design was painted with UV sealer. SPECIFICATIONS / TECHNICAL PROPERTIES: 2900 x 420 x 430mm TAGS: Resistance, comfort, lightness, aesthetics, innovation, waves, nature RESEARCH ABSTRACT: The survey was conducted with the use of corporative and domestic architecture of images, foreseeing measures and possible uses for the project. The methodology was visits to target areas and renowned architects database of images. CHALLENGE: The greatest difficulty was to adjust the appliques system of multi-laminated sheet on the mold without them return to previous situation. a system of clips could be removed without leaving visible marks, and was important in the project was developed quickly.
