Interview with Daniel Plutín Amigó at Thursday 28th of February 2019 FS: What is the main principle, idea and inspiration behind your design? DP: The visual identity of the European Film Festival in Cuba was designed with the concept of traveling through cinema and its influence on learning and knowing. FS: What has been your main focus in designing this work? Especially what did you want to achieve? DP: The main challenge of the project was to find this relevant and sustainable concept to attract and benefit the public from an accessible space for the exchange of experiences. FS: Why did you design this particular concept? Was this design commissioned or did you decide to pursuit an inspiration? DP: We won the project tender with this concept. From the beginning we decided to build a story that aligns with the characteristics of the festival.
