FS: What is the main principle, idea and inspiration behind your design?
GT: We inspired by the natural surrounding of the cafe which is located in a green area of Istanbul a little bit far from the central points, helping people to escape from the city chaos and breathe the fresh air. We wanted to carry this natural and relaxing environment to the interior design by creating a spacious atmosphere with natural elements while presenting the premium quality of the brand with a modern look in the best possible way. Our main goal was to create an environment for celebration of good food and providing a meeting spot for the community.
FS: What are your future plans for this award winning design?
GT: We really would like to design new projects all around the world.
FS: How long did it take you to design this particular concept?
GT: It took us to design all project with details around two weeks.
FS: Why did you design this particular concept? Was this design commissioned or did you decide to pursuit an inspiration?
GT: We desired to helping people to escape from the city chaos and breathe the fresh air by the concept of our project.
FS: Is your design being produced or used by another company, or do you plan to sell or lease the production rights or do you intent to produce your work yourself?
GT: Even though there are being products, we produced most of the designs.
FS: Where there any other designs and/or designers that helped the influence the design of your work?
GT: Our brains are like a huge library that you cant realize how many books that you put inside but when you need something that you could get immediately. So just like that, of course there are so many designs, colour combinations and forms that we inspired by, since our childhood...
