FS: What is the main principle, idea and inspiration behind your design?
AH: Beautiful yet functional surroundings of historic villa. That was our main goal. The inspiration was the same old villa, the English and Italian gardens but also the Far East gardens .
FS: What has been your main focus in designing this work? Especially what did you want to achieve?
AH: In this project, the most important was the sensible use of a difficult space of the garden, which is located on a large hill. Obtaining a horizontal surface was a big challenge. Guidelines conservator and the investor have been inconsistent on many points. We had to reconcile the style of a historic villa with contemporary requirements of the residents.
FS: How long did it take you to design this particular concept?
AH: Work on the project began at the stage of restoration works related to the renovation of the building and lasted 6 months
FS: Is your design being produced or used by another company, or do you plan to sell or lease the production rights or do you intent to produce your work yourself?
AH: Garden project can not be copied and used on another plot and at another building. Each garden design is unique due to the uniqueness of each plot - microclimate, terrain, environment, style and shape of the building, location in relation to the world and so on.
