Why Credit Cards Fail?
Credit cards fail mostly due to 3 reasons. 1) Credit Card Limits 2) Incorrect Card Information 3) Account Problems. 1) Credit Card Limits: Your credit card limit might be full if there are insufficient funds, i.e. not enough funds the transaction will not work. You might have funds but if you exceeded the maximum amount allowed for a single charge or for a single day, it might again fail. Some credit cards might have a limited number of charges allowed in a period, i.e. x number of transactions, so if you exceed this, they might fail. Your credit card could fail if your bank doesn't accept charges from an online source or an international payment gateway (when you make a payment to A’ Design Award, it will look like your card is being used in Italy and therefore could lead to some issues). Plus there could be many more issues such as the 2) Incorrect credit card information i.e. You type 5 things right? Expiration date, Security Code, Address, Name on Card, Credit Card Number, if one of these things are wrong, your card might not work, check and review the expiration date on your credit card, check your card number, and check if the phone number and billing address you gave for your credit card match those that your credit card provider bank has. Finally you might have some account issues, for example some banks will not allow you to use the card if your account is minus, also if it is a debit card and if no money left, if there is some sort of security lock. Solutions: Call your bank and ask what is the problem, and ask them to solve the problem; they might need to allow you to make an international transaction, or raise your daily limit etc, furthermore you can try with a different credit card, or different payment interface; for example you could use the PayPal interface to pay using your credit card.
Why Bank Transfers Fail?
Bank transfers fail mostly of 4 reasons. 1) You do not have the money. 2) You sent money to the wrong entity. 3) You did not send the money at all. 4) You are not legally permitted. 1) If you do not have money at the account once the transaction is cleared, it will not take place and your transaction will fail, the transaction could sometime after you order it so you must ensure there is money at your account at the time of transaction. 2) You might have sent the money to some other entity, make sure that the transaction details; bank name, account name, bic/swift/iban codes and any other details might be correct. 3) Likewise, make sure that all the transaction detail information is present. 4) Sometimes your country might not legally permit you or sometimes you might not be legally permitted to send money to the destination country. Solutions: 1. Make sure to have money in your account. 2. Double check the information required for transaction. 3. Ensure you are legally able to make the transaction and if this is the case, in most cases, a permit will be useful, some countries require you to demonstrate an invoice before international fund transfers could be made and in some cases you might send money from another country, you can request a proforma invoice from us or alternatively, for example you could ask your friend in another country to send the money on your behalf even if you cannot send yourself from your own country, and later pay to your friend.
If everything fails, do not worry and checkout other payment options or also read transaction issues. |
