Networking Effects
Since its inception in 2009, the A’ Design Award has given a significant importance to networking effects that is how participants from different categories create value for each other; we did this while other awards were mostly specialized in a single category or categories in a specific industry where every entrant is your competitor, we designed the A’ Design Award with many different award categories but most importantly these different award categories were aimed at different industries, and with many different participants from diverse fields; such that when you win A’ Design Award you do not interact just with your competitors but you also have the opportunity to connect with people who may become your collaborators. Creating Positive Networking
In order to increase our Networking Effects, to find more collaborators for our laureates, and to increase the diffusion of the A’ Design Award in different industries, we have created this special campaign to attract designers from diverse fields, to recognize and award good design in all industries, in all categories.
Make it Competitive
We are happy to sponsor your entry via digital nomination, if you created a design suitable for nomination to one of our underrepresented design award categories. If the design award category relevant to your work does not have significant number of past laureates, we will consider this an unrepresented category, regardless of how many participants there were for this category (some categories have low number of winners even though they may have high number of entrants, but we will just take published winners for consideration, and thus this applies to our regular categories only.) We will be pleased to provide you with a complimentary nomination ticket to nominate your work to one of our underrepresented design award categories so that we could have a healthier more diffused competitive environment, with more collaborators, and more reach in different industries. Within the scope of reinforcing our underrepresented categories, we have three campaigns. Of course this program also applies to our newly announced categories.
