Juanjuan Hu, the creator of the award winning project Jade Fun says “Jade Fun aims to create interaction between wearers and jades. There have two wearing statuses for each piece of jewelry, with the jade, and without the jade, as the wearer like. Each jade is carved by hands. It is a typical Chinese safety buckle shape, implying peace and auspiciousness, with a hole in the middle of the buckle. In the center of each hole, the designer has designed an 18k gold rivet structure, allowing for free rotation to take the jade out.
