LI XINLIN, the designer of the award winning work Kinetic Chinese Characters says “Characters or scripts are the essence of civilization and are the main subject of research in the design field. However, conventional font design technique that used paper as the medium began to be pushed aside as it gradually failed to adapt to the dynamic space on the screen. In this project , 16 works were created based on the components of Chinese characters.
