Wenkai Xue, the lead designer of the winning work TranS explains “TranS which is easier in moving than the usual one isolation strip, is designed for those interior and outdoor environment such as airport, cinema, concert, exhibition and so on which needs to set isolation strip by considering daily visitors flow rates. When you are trying to move TranS, you just need to pull up the steel pillar. Therefore, balance weight plate will fall down a bit of distance between the steel pillar and because of the self-balance of weight plate, it can rotate 90 degrees.
