Wei Jingye, the creator of the award winning design Placid says “Inspired by some Chinese landscape paintings, large areas of white space, highlighting key points. Therefore, the metal under the solid wood is designed to be tight and loose. The solid wood table corners, the metal table legs or the connecting parts are all enclosed by frames and all rounded corners are used. The slender inspiration of the leg of the stool comes from the thin gold body of the Song Huizong. The pen is smart and fast, and the notes are thin, but thin and lose its flesh.
