Yingfan Zhang & Xiaojun Bu, the lead designer of the winning work WuliEpoch explains “The project is located on a triangular lot, where still a set of showrooms functions need to be fit in. Designers place three axes to divide up the street front of the site, and various scales of landscape and court yard spaces are formed. Along the path of circulation, a ramp connects programs of urban exhibition hall, tea bar, bar, and skating rink together. The ramp continues to spiral up to the VIP room and the Mock-up exhibition area on the second floor.
