Shiho Chu, the creator of the award winning interior design work Sushi Palace says “The design team contrasted the face-to-face confrontation scene between the sushi master and the gourmet, to the duel scene of Japanese traditional sport: Sumo. The design concept was taken from the home field of Sumo, as known as the Dohyo, thousands of audience gaze at the victory and defeat on it, which is similar to the confrontation between the master and the gourmet.
