Concerning The Whale Island

Alec Wong, the creative mind behind the winning work The Whale Island explains “The design inspiration of Whale Island kids club concept is from the location of the project, where Gulangyu Island is a pedestrian only island off the coast of Xiamen, Fujian province in southern eastern China. A UNESCO World Cultural Heritage.
