Ketan Jawdekar, the creator of the award winning project Pune Restaurant says “Kopp in local Goan language means a glass of a drink. Whirlpool formed by stirring a drink in a glass is visualised as a concept for this project. It portrays the design philosophy of repetition of a module generating patterns.Keeping central column as the base and wrapping ceiling around it is conceived by using a module of PVC drainage pipes and Y bends. Further the curve in horizontal as well as vertical plane is enhanced using curved panels of plywood cladded with veneer.
