Guilherme Torres, the creator of the award winning project Retrofit Melhoramentos Company Sao Paulo says “Organized around the current central atrium the project aims to reconfigure the entire building respecting it’s structural grid. A rational the study of its structural systems, four hydraulic cores were created to attend all floors. On the ground floor, curved walls and soft ramps protect the interior from the street, creating a smooth transition to a large area open atrium.
