Yanwen Hu, the designer of the award winning project Chinese History says “"Chinese History Infographic Book" is an information system visualizing the twenty-four dynasties in ancient China. By analyzing the historical contributions of over 800 emperors and 200 scholars in the fields of politics, philosophy, arts, science, and technology, the book visually presents the relationships among those realms. Inspired by the traditional Chinese art, the middle part of the book is a landscape painting, which is an artistic visualization based on the real history data.
