João Faria, the lead designer of the winning work Emotional Object #020: "Gift wrap" explains “Gift wrap is a simple coffee table. Inspired in a box of chocolates, the table, which can be made in five different kinds of wood or super clear glass, relies on a structure of stainless steel (polished or brushed) for an effortless support. This structure comes in two variations: A ribbon around a volume (1st movement) or corners (2nd movement) which was a lucky variations found on its design development.
