Fabian Kessler, the creative mind behind the winning sporting goods design Aroc explains “Aroc is a racing sledge with a unique steering mechanism that feels like riding a motorbike. By leaning to the side, the mobile body can turn in its centre axis and allow the waisted runners to tilt over, enabling carved turns. The designers sought to create a new feeling when riding a sledge and to embed these emotions into the design.
