Misaki Kiyuna, the creative mind behind the winning project Rin explains “This is a shelf made from "Sendan" wood from Okinawa Prefecture. The design of the pillars is inspired by the scenery of Japanese bamboo forests. It has a simple structure, consisting of a pillar with four iron rods welded to a steel plate and fixed to wood with screws. Since the wood is not processed, the length and thickness vary, allowing you to enjoy a variety of solid wood shapes and expressions. You can put books or small items between the pillars.
